About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and support multiple election and governance projects from initial planning through to delivery
- Work with clients, Project Managers and Consultants to understand requirements and translate them into clear project activity
- Prepare and maintain project specifications, timelines, documentation and accurate records
- Coordinate with internal production, design and digital teams to align schedules, resources and key milestones
- Attend client meetings, track actions and provide clear updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Carry out quality checks and help identify and resolve issues before they affect delivery
- Support compliance with election law and Civica procedures relating to quality, data security and business continuity
- Build knowledge of election delivery and project management, progressing towards ownership of increasingly complex projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with clients and colleagues at different levels
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage tasks or projects at different stages
- A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to use initiative, think critically and suggest practical solutions
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, particularly about elections, governance, legislation and project delivery
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to keeping accurate records and producing high-quality work
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with an interest in client-facing work and the confidence to respond when project requirements vary
