Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead implementation of Civica’s software solutions for local government councils
  • Manage a portfolio of software implementation projects, including new deployments, upgrades, migrations, and additional module rollouts
  • Work directly with customers to improve citizen services, operational efficiency, and long-term outcomes
  • Collaborate with councils, implementation consultants, engineers, and product specialists
  • Drive projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare
  • Manage customer relationships and serve as a trusted partner to local government organisations across Australia
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project status meetings
  • Manage project planning, RAID processes, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate shared delivery resources in a matrixed environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing software implementation, SaaS, ERP, or technology projects from initiation through to go-live
  • Experience working in a vendor, software provider, consulting, or implementation partner environment
  • Strong customer-facing stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted relationships
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
  • Strong project governance capabilities, including project planning, RAID management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and coordinate shared delivery resources
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops, steering committees, and project status meetings
  • Ability to identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation strategies
  • Experience with local government, public sector, ERP, asset management, finance, or enterprise software solutions highly regarded
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification desirable
