About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Engineering Managers and multiple teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes
- Develop leadership capability and build engaged engineering teams
- Partner with Product and senior stakeholders on engineering strategy and technical direction
- Align delivery with customer, business and product priorities
- Shape technology strategy and long-term engineering roadmaps

Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading Engineering Managers and multiple software engineering teams
- Ability to build strong leaders and capable, engaged engineering teams
- Experience partnering with Product to align technology priorities with customer and business needs
- Experience shaping product technology strategy and long-term engineering roadmaps
- Experience modernising engineering practices, tools and ways of working
- Experience embedding AI and automation across the software development lifecycle
- Ability to measure AI adoption and engineering improvements through outcome-focused metrics
- Ability to balance product delivery with quality, technical debt, cloud costs and long-term sustainability
- Knowledge of continuous delivery, automated testing, security and observability
- Strong technical leadership in a Microsoft-focused environment
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core, Azure and SQL Server
- Broader experience with AWS, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes and Datadog
