About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own complex features end to end, from solution design through development, testing, release and production support
- Design and build scalable full-stack solutions using C#, modern .NET and React
- Shape architecture and technical solutions while balancing quality, security, reliability and maintainability
- Partner with product, design and stakeholders to turn complex or ambiguous requirements into practical solutions
- Build, deploy and support software across CI/CD, observability, infrastructure and cloud-native delivery
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools in software design, development and delivery
- Champion engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews and strong development practices
- Identify technical risks and dependencies early, communicate trade-offs and proactively resolve blockers
- Share knowledge with other engineers and contribute to technology transformation and greenfield product rewrites
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience designing and building scalable full-stack solutions using C#, modern .NET and React
- Experience with solution architecture and technical design
- Experience across CI/CD, observability, infrastructure and cloud-native delivery
- Effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools, with sound judgement and validation of output quality and security
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews and strong development practices
- Ability to identify technical risks and dependencies, communicate trade-offs and resolve blockers
- Growth mindset and willingness to work beyond a narrow technical specialisation
- Highly regarded: experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, DevOps practices, Kubernetes, Docker, Playwright, application security and production support
- Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or comparable environments welcomed
