About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage data to drive user growth, identify trends, and influence product and business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to address analytical questions and evaluate hypotheses
- Define and manage key metrics for strategic product, growth, and operational decisions
- Enable stakeholders to independently explore and utilize data
- Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines using tools like dbt
- Develop dashboards, memos, slides, and visualizations that tell stories and inspire action
- Brainstorm ideas, verify analyses, and review peers’ work for accuracy and quality
- Support Clair’s mission to provide digital banking and on-demand pay services to America’s workers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–5 years of professional experience in the data analytics field
- Fluent in SQL (translating business questions to queries, understanding joins and functions, and building data pipelines)
- Experience with experimentation and statistical analysis to guide decision-making
- Experience across the entire data pipeline, including data ingestion, processing, modeling, and visualization
- Comfortable with the analytics engineering workflow
- Experience with the modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, Tableau
- Experience with a scripting language like Python or R
- Interest in financial systems and consumer behavior
- Experience with machine learning or statistical modeling
- Experience in a high-growth start-up environment
- Must answer whether visa sponsorship will be required to work in the United States
