About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the safety and wellbeing of 4,000 colleagues
- Provide health and safety guidance across the business
- Report to the Health & Safety Manager
- Own health and safety documentation, data, reporting, and investigations
- Maintain accurate, consistent, and compliant records and processes
- Monitor legislation and best practice and share relevant updates
- Conduct inspections and safety reviews
- Promote consistent safety practices across teams
- Embed Clarion’s safety culture
- Enhance data capture and drive continuous improvement
- Review accident and incident reports
- Ensure investigations are proportionate and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled
- Develop guidance materials
- Design and deliver training
- Travel across the North region and to the Stevenage main hub to deliver training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Health & Safety professional
- NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
- Experience applying health and safety knowledge in a repairs environment
- Solid understanding of risk management
- Ability to work within established policies and procedures
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment
- Willingness and ability to travel across the North region and regularly to the main hub in Stevenage
