About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as one of the first points of contact for potential customers
  • Engage hundreds of local government agencies across North America
  • Respond to inbound leads and provide prospects with a friction-free experience
  • Research potential prospects using the Ideal Customer Profile, networks, sales tools, and high-quality lists
  • Work with the Business Development Executive on account plans
  • Build and execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound sequences through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn touches, and other channels
  • Use AI-powered tools to research prospects, identify buying signals, and personalize outreach
  • Identify decision-makers, influencers, and champions within buying committees
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on target lists, call strategies, messaging, and awareness initiatives
  • Partner with Sales Executives for timely handoff of qualified leads
  • Improve the lead qualification process
  • Maintain a prospect pipeline as information is gathered and interest is vetted
  • Keep Salesforce current by logging activities, maintaining accurate contact data, and flagging ideal accounts
  • Share prospect feedback, objections, and competitive insights with the team
  • Participate in onboarding, training, coaching, and quota-setting activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3+ years of relevant B2B sales and/or Govtech experience
  • Extremely comfortable cold-calling prospects on the phone
  • Experience explaining technical/complex solutions to key stakeholders
  • Coachable, self-aware, and open to feedback
  • Curious mindset and willingness to ask questions to understand prospects’ pains and challenges
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and retain large amounts of information
  • Experience using Salesforce and Dialpad
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience using AI sales tools for prospecting research and outreach personalization
  • Data-driven outbound mindset; ability to track and interpret personal metrics and self-correct
  • Background checks required before joining
  • Successful candidates must undergo comprehensive checks focused on relevant global sanctions and criminal offences
