About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own positioning and messaging for every product in the portfolio
- Develop differentiated narratives for superintendents, school technology directors, data and privacy leaders, and curriculum leaders
- Define and evolve ClassLink’s category story
- Build messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points
- Own go-to-market plans for product and feature launches
- Coordinate cross-functional launches across product, demand generation, creative, customer marketing, and sales
- Define audience segmentation, launch sequencing, success metrics, and launch handoffs
- Build a repeatable launch framework
- Partner with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, and Creative leaders
- Direct creative briefs for product pages, campaigns, and launch assets
- Provide market feedback to product, marketing, and leadership
- Create talk tracks, battle cards, objection handling, demo scripts, and one-pagers
- Own competitive intelligence and brief leadership and sales on market changes
- Translate wins, losses, and field feedback into sharper positioning and tools
- Develop buyer personas, message maps, and customer research
- Partner with Product on roadmap and pricing decisions
- Run win/loss analysis and customer research
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing
- At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing people
- Proven track record positioning and launching B2B SaaS or EdTech products that drove adoption, pipeline, and revenue
- Ability to write positioning documents, messaging frameworks, sales tools, and launch narratives
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS or EdTech go-to-market motions
- Experience owning competitive intelligence, buyer research, and sales enablement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex products
- Experience leading or mentoring a team and setting clear direction
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for team meetings and conferences
