About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Become an expert on all ClassLink products
- Provide strategic and technical guidance on the use and expansion of the ClassLink product suite
- Maintain relationships with current customers in the assigned territory through onsite meetings, phone, email, and SWAG mailings
- Increase adoption and usage of ClassLink
- Perform account management duties, including proactive customer outreach, annual client review meetings, quoting, and renewal emails
- Serve as an education and product expert supporting customer understanding of ClassLink
- Conduct virtual and conference demonstrations of ClassLink
- Develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations
- Ensure year-over-year customer retention and assist with renewal fee negotiations
- Host regional and virtual user group events
- Attend conferences and events in assigned territories
- Maintain internal documentation for each customer
- Use provided tools to understand customer health and intervene when needed
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and account health
- Deliver experiences that drive customer retention
- Work on cross-functional teams to improve ClassLink’s product suite
- Maintain or improve the renewal rate
- Maintain at least an 80% Annual Review completion rate
- Travel up to 35% to support in-person school partner engagements and user groups, potentially including weekends for conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Administrator-level experience with ClassLink
- Diverse rostering experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience presenting in virtual and online environments
- Strong project management skills and flexibility
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must live in Ohio or Michigan
- 3+ years of experience in a senior consultative/account management role
- Experience as a technology leader for a district office
- Extensive knowledge of the K-12 ed-tech marketplace
- Passion to improve classroom learning and pedagogy
- Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time
- PMP certification is advantageous
- Previous knowledge using a customer success tool (ChurnZero, Gainsight, Vitally) is advantageous
- Experience with Google Suite, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, and Zoom Meetings preferred
