Key responsibilities & impact
  • Learn ClassLink products, features, releases, workflows, use cases, limitations, audiences, and terminology
  • Build product messaging, value statements, FAQs, talking points, and reusable terminology
  • Keep product webpages current and useful
  • Identify opportunities for new pages, FAQs, and resources
  • Adapt product stories for clients, prospects, partners, and employees
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to plan communications for releases
  • Create communication plans defining audiences, messages, channels, content, owners, and timing
  • Match communication approaches to product releases, from updates to full campaigns
  • Coordinate with Creative, Web, Learning Design, Technical Writing, and other teams
  • Maintain consistent product messaging across webpages, email, campaigns, product news, presentations, events, and internal communications
  • Create ongoing product content including blog series, explainers, comparisons, FAQs, use cases, and resources
  • Write content or prepare briefs for other writers
  • Incorporate customer stories and proof points
  • Build relationships across Product, Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Learning Design, Technical Writing, and Creative
  • Track owners, deadlines, follow-ups, and next steps
  • Coordinate events, webinars, social, PR, newsletters, customer stories, and case studies when appropriate
  • Develop repeatable processes for planning, creating, updating, and reusing communications
  • Use AI with judgment and fact-checking
  • Own assigned product communication projects from planning through completion
  • Maintain a pipeline of launches, nurture campaigns, product content, and webpage opportunities
  • Recommend communication priorities based on product priorities, audience feedback, and engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in product communications, product marketing, content strategy, B2B marketing, or related work
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience with launches, nurture campaigns, webpages, blogs, email, or other content supporting audience action
  • Curiosity about product functionality and user needs
  • Ability to organize projects, people, deadlines, and details
  • Initiative to identify gaps and recommend next steps
  • Good judgment and experience working across Product, Marketing, Sales, technical teams, and other partners
  • Comfort using AI and marketing data to improve work
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for company and team retreats and meetings
  • Preferred: experience in edtech, SaaS, cybersecurity, identity and access management, or another complex-product industry
  • Preferred: experience working with product managers, engineers, technical writers, and customer-facing teams
  • Preferred: familiarity with SEO, AI-powered discovery, marketing automation, CRM, or web analytics
  • Preferred: experience building product content or nurture programs
