Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned products
  • Balance customer needs, business objectives, market opportunities, and data-driven insights
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and competitive trends
  • Prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer value, business impact, and delivery effectiveness
  • Lead product discovery, solution design, and Agile execution from concept through release
  • Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics
  • Design and execute experiments, beta programs, and validation activities
  • Leverage customer feedback, market research, product analytics, and AI-enabled insights
  • Measure product performance using operational and business metrics and recommend improvements
  • Ensure AI-enabled features address privacy, transparency, equity, and customer trust
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, customer insights, and product performance to stakeholders
  • Champion effective product management practices and responsible AI adoption
  • Lead, coach, and develop assigned Engineering Leads through feedback, performance management, and professional development
  • Establish priorities, expectations, and accountability for Engineering Leads
  • Support career development and leadership development for Engineering Leads
  • Foster trust, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience managing a product or major feature area with demonstrated ownership across the product lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Education, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to define product vision, prioritize roadmaps, manage backlogs, and deliver successful products
  • Technical understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and platform capabilities
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML product concepts and experience defining, testing, or iterating on AI-enabled features using AI-powered tools
  • Strong analytical thinking using customer insights, analytics, and experimentation for product decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value
  • Ability to lead cross-functional product initiatives, build consensus, and guide engineering execution
  • Proficiency with Linear, Agile/Scrum methodologies, product analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, and AI productivity tools
  • Understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, competitive positioning, and business tradeoffs
  • Self-directed, adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or equivalent Agile certification
  • Preferred: Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or enterprise software environments
  • Preferred: Experience defining and shipping AI/ML-enabled features
  • Preferred: Experience with A/B testing, product analytics, customer discovery, usability research, market validation, APIs, integrations, platform products, data-driven applications, responsible AI, privacy, transparency, and AI governance in education
