About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, maintain, and manage profitable airport contracts and relationships
  • Lead pursuits, proposal responses, negotiations, contract renewals, and extensions for airport advertising concessions
  • Develop influential relationships within the airport industry
  • Lead responses to airport and municipal RFPs using industry best practices
  • Oversee media program design and capital requirements for new and extended contracts
  • Negotiate contract terms aligned with company objectives
  • Ensure contractual terms are fulfilled
  • Collaborate with sales, projects, operations, finance, legal, and other internal teams to execute advertising products and services
  • Employ portfolio strategies and tactics to achieve portfolio goals
  • Support internal stakeholders in meeting internal and external objectives
  • Promote the company’s capabilities, products, and industry leadership at conferences, trade associations, airport meetings, and networking events
  • Complete other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, Public Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, media, advertising, real estate, finance, or airport experience with increasing responsibility
  • Airport concessions experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success identifying, pursuing, negotiating, and securing large-scale business opportunities
  • Experience leading complex RFP and public procurement processes
  • Experience building executive-level relationships
  • Familiarity with state, county, and/or city public procurement processes is a plus
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Executive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead multiple complex pursuits simultaneously
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business productivity applications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a ten-year FBI background check for airport security badging
  • Ability to travel outside the office and overnight 40% of the time
  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for at least eight hours per day
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to walk through airport terminals of varying sizes
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or late-night hours
