About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide temporary coverage for anticipated 3–5 months
- Maintain Workday data integrity by managing queue priorities, global time-off analytics, and contractor-record lifecycles
- Use Excel and Google Sheets to pull, organize, and analyze HR data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
- Synchronize legacy award data with payroll systems and support compliance audits, including governmental wage reporting
- Manage the benefits communication channel, audit invoices, and resolve system integration logs
- Execute weekly benefits funding, verification auditing, contribution file uploads, and participant enrollment messaging
- Reconcile monthly billing statements for medical, pharmacy, and ancillary insurance vendors
- Facilitate benefits orientation sessions for incoming team members
- Support annual Open Enrollment and processing of ACA 1095-C documentation
- Administer parental leave requests end-to-end, maintain case files, and ensure adherence to FMLA guidelines
- Participate in weekly ADA review meetings and apply workplace-accommodation and statutory-leave expertise
- Coordinate administrative off-boarding, including equipment return labels and complex severance workflows
- Handle day-to-day administrative inquiries and manage the HR ticketing system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience in HR operations, benefits administration, or a similar HR generalist/coordinator role
- Working knowledge of employee benefits plans and enrollment processes
- Familiarity with FMLA and general leave-of-absence compliance requirements
- Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS strongly preferred
- Comfort managing invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor payment deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to ramp up quickly and work independently after initial training
- Familiarity with Excel and/or Google Sheets
