About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a portfolio of strategic partner accounts across financial services and other consumer categories
  • Drive revenue, gross margin and long-term growth for The Penny Hoarder and its partners
  • Identify and pitch monetization opportunities, scale high-performing partnerships and expand account value
  • Balance revenue and gross margin growth with partner KPIs, traffic quality and long-term account health
  • Analyze performance at the offer, placement and source levels
  • Deliver data-backed recommendations to improve campaign results
  • Build relationships with partners and internal paid media, editorial, product and operations teams
  • Expand partner relationships into additional products, channels, sponsorships and flat-fee opportunities
  • Maintain campaign reporting, tracking and account documentation
  • Identify material performance changes, explain business impact and recommend next steps
  • Lead business reviews and partner meetings
  • Maintain workflows, documentation and follow-through; share learnings with the broader team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in account management, partnerships or business development, with a track record of growing accounts
  • Experience in affiliate or performance marketing; financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of CPA, CPL, CPC, flat-fee and other digital media pricing models
  • Proven ability to negotiate pricing, payouts, budgets and contract terms
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn performance data into clear recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence and coordinate work across teams without direct authority
  • Strong project-management skills and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to identify next steps and take action
  • Experience with TUNE or similar affiliate and tracking platforms is a plus
  • Occasional schedule flexibility may be required for time-sensitive partner needs
  • Must be willing to work on Eastern Time
