About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable for the successful strategic execution of key client portfolios or large-scale programmes
  • Uphold quality, profitability and exceptional client outcomes across assigned accounts
  • Bring ClearPoint’s delivery capabilities to life to meet clients’ strategic objectives
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Build strong executive and senior-level client relationships
  • Collaboratively manage resources and strategy alongside the Client Director and Technical Director
  • Set engagement strategy and oversee delivery across the portfolio
  • Manage financial performance, including margins and forecasting
  • Ensure quality and manage risk
  • Contribute directly to client engagements through governance, executive consulting and delivery leadership
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships, manage expectations and act as an escalation point
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities
  • Lead resource planning and allocation with internal leaders
  • Provide oversight to delivery teams
  • Ensure engagements follow ClearPoint standards
  • Contribute to refining delivery best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of executive-level experience leading complex technology or consulting programmes, client operations or large portfolios
  • Experience with multi-million dollar budgets and P&L responsibility
  • Deep understanding of professional services economics, including utilisation, rates, margins, SOWs, forecasting and commercial negotiation
  • Track record of building trust and influence with C-level stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading engagements where AI agents are part of the delivery team
  • Ability to articulate the value of AI-enabled delivery to executives in business terms
  • Experience tailoring delivery methodologies, resource planning, risk management and executive reporting
  • Proven ability to identify and win expansion opportunities within accounts
  • Experience contributing to pre-sales through solution shaping, estimation and proposals
  • Ability to lead, influence and delegate within matrixed teams
  • Ability to drive results in ambiguous environments and escalate clear recommendations
  • Ability to balance client needs, delivery quality, team wellbeing, company reputation and commercial outcomes
  • Alignment with ClearPoint’s values is essential
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
