About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and procedures
- Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, generate leads, and secure Field Services work such as hazardous waste remediation, tank cleaning, and emergency response
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and build strong relationships with local branches to maximize revenue and service delivery
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining daily awareness of sales activities and results
- Track and manage activities, opportunities, and accounts using CRM tools, leveraging insights to develop strategies and cross-sell services
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure profitable business
- Serve as the primary contact and problem solver for assigned accounts and new business opportunities
- Assist with the collection of invoiced revenue from customers
- Address obstacles promptly and take decisive action to resolve issues
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals and position Clearsite as an indispensable partner
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including account management and business development
- Experience meeting revenue targets or quotas in sales or account management roles
- Experience in Field Services or Industrial Services
- Background resolving customer issues related to RCRA, DOT, CERCLA, environmental remediation, emergency response, or industrial high-pressure cleaning
- Experience using software to track and manage accounts, opportunities, and sales activities
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel as needed for customer and site visits (mostly day trips)
- Bachelor’s degree in sales or business management (preferred)
- Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms in a B2B sales context (preferred)
- Experience in industrial or environmental services (preferred)
- OSHA/HazWOPER or other relevant safety or field certification (preferred)
- Experience managing B2B customer relationships in utilities, construction, municipalities, or industrial facilities/plants (preferred)
