Key responsibilities & impact

Document complex financial technology products for external and internal audiences
Ensure clients receive content aligned with new SaaS releases
Draft content in iterative working sessions with product managers and engineers
Translate complex financial technology topics into clear, concise language
Use AI tools to accelerate drafting and editing while maintaining quality and consistency
Maintain and evolve the knowledge base, including editorial style, taxonomy, hierarchy, and templating
Contribute to improvements in AI features, design strategy, style guides, acronym/jargon guide, and video library
Manage the content pipeline through Jira and keep documentation on pace with product releases
Mentor junior writers and provide editorial feedback

What you’ll need

7+ years of professional technical writing experience
Experience tackling complex topics in clear, concise language for varied audiences
Strong editorial judgment and command of style, taxonomy, hierarchy, and formatting
Experience integrating AI tools, including Claude, into existing workflows
Ability to learn quickly and collaborate
Comfort working with SMEs across product, engineering, and client services
Ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Client-first mindset and the Three Cs: consistent, concise, clear
Preferred: FinTech industry experience
Preferred: Atlassian platform, including Confluence and Jira
Preferred: Design/graphics/video tools such as Figma, SnagIt, Canva, Loom, and Adobe Creative Cloud
Preferred: UI/UX writing
Preferred: Markdown, HTML, CSS
Preferred: familiarity with code structure, preferably Java and/or Python, APIs, CLIs, IDEs, and GitLab
