About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Catalyst’s Investor Services team in delivering high-quality client service
- Support the full lifecycle of investor transactions, from onboarding and compliance through wire payment support and reporting
- Ensure investor onboarding forms are complete and compliant with regulatory guidelines
- Create and input new investors into RTA systems
- Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with KYC teams to resolve issues
- Input and accurately record investor transactions in RTA systems
- Review trade documents and follow up on missing information
- Prepare investor statements for internal review
- Prepare and submit wire payments to treasury according to payment and call-back procedures
- Complete investor reporting within client-defined SLAs
- Maintain accurate documentation of investors, transactions, communications, and approvals
- Assist with investor queries regarding transactions, statements, and other issues
- Monitor communication channels and the Customer Requests dashboard
- Coordinate with Fund Accounting and Middle Office teams on reconciliations and fund activities
- Support processing of capital calls, fund distributions, and transaction bookings in line with the fund’s NAV cycle
- Review incoming wires and flag third-party or suspicious payments to Compliance
- Assist with FATCA/CRS and AEOI documentation collection
- Maintain organized investor compliance records
- Share process-improvement insights and contribute to new procedures, products, and solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, business users, project, and implementation managers
- Report to the Associate Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the Fund Administration industry, particularly in investor services, investor transaction processing, including redemptions, subscriptions, transfers, and distributions and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Cayman Island Monetary Authority (CIMA) regulations and the most common fund structures
- Knowledge of Delaware fund structures
- Knowledge of Cayman Islands AML/KYC procedures and operational compliance
- Understanding of FATCA/CRS and AEOI regulations
- High proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel, Word, and Teams
- Experience with investor management systems, client portals, or other fund administration software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization
- Ability to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: high proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients
- Preferred: understanding of Master-Feeder structures, Brazilian local funds, offshore vehicles, and FX contract transaction considerations
