About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently deliver increasingly complex EDI and B2B integration solutions.
Implement EDI solutions using ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
Configure and troubleshoot AS2, SFTP, VAN, and API communication protocols.
Develop and maintain ERP integrations and business process workflows.
Build medium-complexity data mappings, Business Process Sequences, and integration flows.
Implement REST/SOAP APIs with OAuth, authentication, encryption, and API security.
Support UAT, resolve mapping issues, and optimize integration performance.
Troubleshoot integration issues independently and escalate complex problems when required.
Document integration designs, configurations, and implementation processes.
Follow implementation, quality, and security best practices.
Use AI to draft implementation plans, summarize customer requirements, generate documentation, debug and review code snippets, resolve errors, understand APIs, and draft technical documents and test cases.
Validate AI-generated output before use.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong understanding of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and B2B integration concepts.
Experience configuring AS2, SFTP, VAN, REST/SOAP APIs, and authentication methods.
Hands-on experience with Business Process Sequences (BPS), data mapping, and ERP integrations; SAP preferred.
Working knowledge of API security, OAuth, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in EDI, B2B integration, or middleware implementation.
Proven ability to deliver integration projects independently.
Experience with multiple ERP platforms (SAP, NetSuite, D365, Acumatica) preferred.
Familiarity with Cleo Integration Cloud or B2B platforms such as Sterling, Gentran, OpenText, or Axway preferred.
Exposure to retail, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain domains preferred.
Experience using AI tools to improve documentation or delivery efficiency preferred.
Ability to use AI coding assistants and prompt AI tools effectively.
Familiarity with AI tools across the software lifecycle.
Ability to work proactively, cooperate with team members, manage tasks, focus on customers, communicate effectively, persist under pressure, acquire information, manage stress, and support diversity.
