About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services
  • Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations
  • Select, dose, administer, and dispense medications appropriately
  • Document services completely, accurately, and timely

  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards
  • Direct staff to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships
  • Educate and train students, residents, caregivers, and/or patients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
  • Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh), or eligibility for reciprocation in the current state within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work rotating day/evening shifts: 7:00AM–3:30PM or 3:00PM–11:30PM
  • Every 4th weekend and two holiday requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, approximately 75% of the shift
  • Manual dexterity for computer and dispensing functions
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, stoop, climb steps, and sit
  • Normal or corrected vision
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment
  • Compliance with controlled-substance testing after an offer of employment
  • Compliance with the annual influenza vaccination program or an approved exemption
