About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a subject matter expert while directing and managing major enterprise-wide clinical research projects with high complexity and organizational impact
  • Lead, consult on, and oversee enterprise-wide projects using advanced concepts and tools
  • Provide assessment and ongoing clinical services as part of Institutional Review Board-approved research projects
  • Support good clinical practice in research through patient contact and provision of clinical services within the incumbent’s scope of licensure, as approved by the Institutional Review Board
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Attend meetings at various locations throughout the health system as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree
  • 10 years of directly relevant experience, including a minimum of three years of demonstrated project consultant or other relevant experience within the scope of clinical practice
  • Current state licensure for field of professional clinical practice
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision at offsite facilities
  • Thorough understanding of the research process and terminology
  • In-depth knowledge of the specialty under investigation
  • Must reside in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada
  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment
  • Normal or corrected vision and ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person
  • Ability to comply with standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
