Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise caregivers in daily operations of the assigned group
  • Maintain staffing levels
  • Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests
  • Provide leadership and training
  • Coordinate and provide orientation and education
  • Analyze workflow and procedures
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve procedures, processes, speed, quality and effectiveness
  • Ensure cross coverage
  • Develop an effective work team
  • Encourage and support morale-building activities
  • Communicate with caregivers and provide orientation on policies
  • Support AGP Registration at Stow Health and Wellness Center and Green and Bath Health and Wellness Centers as needed
  • Manage scheduling, staffing and payroll while ensuring caregivers meet goals and metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience as a work leader, team lead or project manager OR one year of supervisory experience in a related field
  • Ability to supervise caregivers and technical and administrative functions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve and handle unexpected issues
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with bi-weekly on-call requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
  • Ability to operate various types of powered material handling equipment
  • Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
  • Ability to follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
  • Must comply with annual influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption
  • Successful completion of controlled-substance testing following an employment offer
