Imaging Library Specialist I

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer service through incoming phone calls and websites
- Import and export images and imaging information using computer operations and media
- Digitize analog images into PACS
- Process image requests from patients, providers, and caregivers using R.I.S., H.I.S., and other computer applications
- Transfer imaging for patients moving inbound and outbound of the Cleveland Clinic system
- Provide imaging-related services to patients when needed
- Maintain HIPAA and Corporate Compliance standards regarding Protected Health Information (P.H.I.)
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Typing proficiency of 30 WPM using CRT
- Prolonged sitting, standing and walking
- Occasional bending, stooping and kneeling
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull up to 75 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to operate a PC and basic office equipment; keyboard data entry
- Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors
- Vision in normal range
- Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment
- Must comply with Cleveland Clinic’s influenza prevention program, including annual vaccination or an approved exemption
- Offers of employment are followed by testing for controlled substances
