About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate revenue within the assigned territory through remote selling and consistent in-market dealer engagement
  • Engage leads and prospects in person, via phone, and through web meetings
  • Spend 6–10 days per month in-store with dealers, partners, and prospects
  • Track and document discussions in Salesforce
  • Source new sales opportunities through dealer visits, outbound prospecting, referrals, and follow-up
  • Meet or exceed revenue, sales activity, pipeline generation, opportunity progression, retention, and account growth targets
  • Become a subject matter expert on company products, industry news, and market challenges
  • Use reporting systems, aggregated data, and CRM tools to track, qualify, forecast, and manage sales pipelines
  • Identify prospect needs, recommend appropriate products or solutions, and close sales opportunities
  • Build rapport with key contacts throughout the assigned territory and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand the prospect database within the assigned business segment
  • Provide leadership with feedback about market and competitor activity
  • Partner with current clients to retain accounts and foster referrals
  • Collaborate with dealer services and CX teams
  • Adhere to company quality standards, values, and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to strategize and collaborate with a large extended team
  • Experience with sales of newly launched products
  • Background working in an automotive dealership sales department required
  • Experience transitioning into SaaS, B2B software, data, or digital marketing sales strongly preferred
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Experience with Digital Marketing and leveraging data to help clients succeed
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with CRM systems and sales forecasting processes
  • Must be able to work EST/CST hours
  • Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including 6–10 in-store dealer days per month and overnight hotel stays as business needs require
  • Candidates in California or New York are not eligible at this time
