About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver Azure projects for clients across design, implementation, and capability release
Deliver cloud infrastructure and modernisation projects
Conduct workshops and health checks
Provide escalation support to front-line teams
Participate in project planning, design, configuration, delivery, and testing
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Design and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions compliant with the Azure Well Architected Framework
Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
Analyse current business practices, processes, and procedures and identify modernisation opportunities
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
Maintain technical knowledge through active solution delivery and expand skills in digital transformation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Infrastructure Services, Azure Platform services, App Services, Database Services, Storage services, Azure backup and recovery services, and Azure Monitor
Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Modern authentication, and Single Sign-on
Good level of knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
Working knowledge of networking concepts and hybrid network design
Good understanding of Microsoft reference architectures and when they should be used
Ability to articulate and demonstrate Microsoft Azure capabilities and business benefits to client stakeholders
Passion for learning new technologies and methodologies
Preferably experience within IT infrastructure, including on-premises, hybrid, and/or cloud-native environments
Preferably experience with large organisations and enterprise-scale platforms
Experience working for an MSP or service provider
Demonstrable certifications and experience deploying infrastructure- and platform-based solutions or managing modern platform services
Comfortable delivering to tight timescales while managing multiple Azure projects in various environments
AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification ideally held as a minimum
Desirable exams may include AZ-700, AZ-900, and AZ-140
