About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of direct contact for Clinigen’s customers, including hospitals, physicians and pharmacists
- Service customer needs and provide information and support for Clinigen and client products assigned to customer accounts
- Process customer orders and enquiries accurately, efficiently and in full through completion
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, emails, faxes and digital-platform activity
- Process quotations and product-sourcing enquiries according to training and regional reference documents
- Follow regulatory, legislative, compliance-based SOPs and log compliance enquiries in the Quality system
- Develop customer relationships and resolve enquiries first time and in full where possible
- Complete onboarding and compliance refresher training; assist with training new starters after gaining experience
- Use departmental systems and processes and contribute ideas to improve customer experience
- Respond to customer contacts within departmental KPIs and SLAs
- Make outbound calls for strategic projects or business requirements
- De-escalate customer interactions and escalate issues to senior team members when necessary
- Collaborate with internal Clinigen teams to ensure customer accounts are compliant and configured to customer needs
- Promote Clinigen Direct and encourage customers to use the digital ordering platform when appropriate
- Capture complaints and non-conformances, implement corrective actions and escalate when required
- Support other Customer Service areas and customers as needed
- Work toward personal objectives, departmental KPIs and regular line-manager check-ins
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-managed, with ability to self-check work while handling customer contact in a customer service environment
- Fluent language ability, written and verbal, for assigned region(s); non-native speakers must converse to an excellent level across all mediums
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE and/or equivalent regional qualification
- Demonstrable experience working in a customer service environment
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric focus
- Ability to multitask with strong organisational skills
- Adaptable and dynamic approach to developing industry trends and technological developments
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Oracle system and digital experience an advantage
