About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a large portfolio of concurrent customer-facing software delivery projects
- Coordinate software upgrades, system enhancements, integrations, migrations, and other post-sales service engagements
- Own project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Product, Technical, Support, and Customer Success teams
- Manage project governance, stakeholder communications, and reporting activities
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Support customers through implementation, testing, deployment, and project closure activities
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, and timescales
- Manage a high volume of projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and contractual commitments
- Deliver projects supporting NHS and private healthcare customers throughout the UK
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager delivering customer-facing software projects
- Experience working for a software vendor, healthcare technology provider, SaaS provider, or technology services organisation
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a high-volume delivery environment
- Experience delivering software-only projects, including upgrades, enhancements, integrations, migrations, or application deployments
- Experience managing project plans, resources, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, or similar
- Experience using project management and planning tools
- Experience managing project governance, reporting, and customer-facing delivery activities
- Experience delivering projects into NHS organisations is highly desirable
- Experience within pathology, laboratory, diagnostics, LIMS, EPR, or healthcare IT environments is highly desirable
- Experience delivering software solutions used within pathology laboratories is highly desirable
- Experience managing healthcare software projects within acute trusts, pathology networks, or diagnostic services is highly desirable
- Previous experience in pathology services, laboratory operations, or healthcare delivery before moving into project management is advantageous
- Experience engaging with pathology managers, laboratory managers, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders is highly desirable
- Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar generative AI tools is desirable
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted workflows into project delivery, governance, reporting, or operational processes is desirable
- Knowledge of Clinisys solutions is beneficial but not essential
- Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies and ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes
- Core understanding of AI concepts and ability to demonstrate use of AI tools in a professional setting
- Occasional planned out-of-hours deployment activities may be required
- Must attend/travel to the office on the first day of employment for onboarding
