About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and evolve the brand’s visual system, including typography, color, layout, iconography, and photo/video treatment
  • Translate business and hiring goals into creative concepts and art-direct work through final delivery
  • Art-direct work produced by freelancers, agencies, and internal contributors
  • Build visual campaigns across recruitment marketing, employer branding, and internal programs
  • Create key visuals, adaptations, and rollout kits for varied placements
  • Produce motion graphics, animated social cuts, lower thirds, kinetic type, and title packages
  • Edit short-form video for social media as needed
  • Design recurring social content, paid ad creative, and reusable digital templates and systems
  • Create pitch decks, one-pagers, reports, and internal collateral to publish-ready standards
  • Maintain source files, component libraries, brand guidelines, and templates
  • Review and approve creative output across the organization
  • Provide clear, direct feedback to raise creative standards
  • Collaborate through Slack, Zoom, shared documentation, and predictable communication rhythms
  • Improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and support business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in graphic design, brand design, or art direction — with senior or lead-level ownership (required)
  • Portfolio showing original concept development, not just execution of others’ briefs (required)
  • Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed
  • Portfolio must show both static and motion work, including at least one self-developed concept case with goal, direction, and result
  • Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (required)
  • Expert command of After Effects for motion graphics and Premiere Pro for video editing (required)
  • Strong Figma skills for design systems, components, and collaborative handoff (required)
  • Working proficiency in Canva for templated assets (required)
  • Demonstrated experience owning a brand’s visual identity end to end (required)
  • Ability to produce a high volume of polished work weekly without quality drift (required)
  • Excellent written communication across time zones (required)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in a remote work environment (required)
  • Full-time exclusivity; candidates must not hold other part-time or freelance engagements once hired
  • Willingness to work U.S. time zone shifts
  • Certificate of Employment and applicable clearance/background check required once hired
  • Agreement to employment verification, reference checks, LinkedIn update, and company monitoring practices
