About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the portal end to end, including the codebase and product direction
Build and release new features in collaboration with the CEO and web developer
Improve and refine the existing portal
Make technical decisions that shape the product
Explain technical decisions clearly to leadership
Collaborate directly with the CEO on priorities and product direction
Work with Slack, Zoom, shared documentation, and predictable communication rhythms
Ensure shipped features are reliable, well-built, secure, and ready for users
Own outcomes, close loops, and raise issues proactively
Continuously improve the product, eliminate inefficiencies, and support business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong, hands-on experience with Next.js and React (required)
Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar (required)
Fluent English, written and spoken (required)
Full working-hours overlap with U.S. Eastern/Central time (required)
Availability for exclusive, full-time work, with no concurrent clients or contracts (required)
Track record of owning projects and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders (required)
Independent contractor engagement based in Latin America
Must submit a Certificate of Employment from most recent employment
Must provide a valid Certified Background Check for LatAm candidates
Must comply with employment verification and reference checks
Must update LinkedIn profile to reflect CAS as the new employer
Must comply with company monitoring practices using ActivTrak
Must be available and willing to work a U.S. time zone shift
Must not request or negotiate a different shift
