About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach, and grow a team of software and data engineers
Write code, build pipelines, prototype GTM applications, and debug alongside the team
Set the technical vision and build GTM Data Platform, App Platform, and MCP integrations in Go and TypeScript
Build and prototype GTM applications including Signals, Customer Health, and Cost Explorer
Evolve Salesforce enrichment, customer contact ingestion, and real-time consumption billing visibility pipelines
Implement data infrastructure migrations
Advise non-technical teams and enable self-service through supported platform primitives
Establish best practices for observability, testing, schema evolution, and deployment
Mitigate bus-factor risks and single points of failure
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, BI, Security, and Product leaders
Align business priorities, unblock dependencies, and turn complex challenges into reliable software solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years of relevant software engineering experience
At least 3 years in a formal engineering management or technical leadership role
Strong track record of remaining hands-on in the code
Strong background writing production code and debugging distributed systems, data pipelines, and web APIs
Experience with Go, TypeScript, Workers, Kubernetes, SQL, and MCP
Proven track record of recruiting, coaching, and developing senior technical talent
Experience owning end-to-end service lifecycles, operational monitoring, incident management, and architectural strategy for complex platforms
Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces and balance rapid prototyping with scalable platform architecture
Ability to translate business needs into robust technical roadmaps
Exceptional collaboration with non-technical business partners, GTM stakeholders, and executive leadership
Experience with Cloudflare Workers, edge computing platforms, or serverless architectures is a bonus
Background in SaaS, Product-Led Growth motions, sales analytics, or CRM/marketing automation integrations is a bonus
Hands-on experience developing MCP servers, LLM/AI integrations, or AI-driven developer workflow automation is a bonus
Experience with modern columnar databases/lakehouses or analytics engineering workflows is a bonus
