About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Interview customers and executives to identify their problems, solutions, and business impact
Explain complex Cloudflare technologies such as Zero Trust and Workers AI in accessible language for business and technical audiences
Lead major storytelling projects including films, campaigns, and customer segments in Cloudflare Connect keynotes
Develop creative concepts and experiment with documentary series, live builds, short social video, interactive data stories, customer takeovers, and podcasts
Set quality standards for customer stories across formats and manage agencies, freelancers, and internal teams
Provide executives with customer stories and proof points for keynotes, briefings, social posts, and customer meetings
Source stories with Sales and Product and coordinate approvals with Marketing, Communications, and Legal
Build repeatable AI workflows for identifying story candidates, interview preparation, drafting, and multi-channel adaptation
Define and track story impact metrics including sales usage, pipeline influence, reach, and advocate engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need

10-15 years of experience in Developer Relations, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Journalism, or Video Production
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
B2B technology experience strongly preferred
Experience producing stories with enterprise customers and their executives, including customer, Legal, and Comms approval
Experience explaining complex technical products such as infrastructure, security, developer platforms, or AI to business and technical audiences
Experience producing video and live or stage content from start to finish
Experience directing or producing customer video, documentary, podcast, or live content
Ability to manage crews and agencies
Ability to interview customer C-suite executives and brief Cloudflare executives
Experience using AI tools for writing, research, interview preparation, or production
Portfolio or examples of customer stories, video, campaigns, or stage content created or led, with results
Experience building a content program or production workflow preferred
