About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Talk directly with developers and customers every day
- Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Wrangler CLI and the broader Cloudflare Workers developer tooling ecosystem
- Lead initiatives from ideation through launch
- Ensure ongoing enhancements based on developer feedback
- Engage with developer communities to understand workflows, challenges, and tooling needs
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external framework authors, and open-source maintainers to maximize compatibility and ease of use with Workers
- Partner with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support teams
- Represent Cloudflare externally at conferences, community events, customer meetings, and developer-focused initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an EM, PM or founder
- Experience leading teams to ship products and demonstrate impact
- Deep empathy for developers and understanding of their workflows, pain points, and adoption of new tools and platforms
- Understanding of writing code that relies on services, tools and systems built by others
- Hands-on ability to write code and use AI and the Internet to learn new things fast
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
- Ability to translate between engineering domains
- Passion for design details and polish
- External presentation skills and ability to build trust and credibility with developers
- Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license, if applicable
