About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support fee earners with day-to-day file management
- Assist with healthcare claims
- Review expert evidence and prepare reports
- Prepare court bundles
- Draft letters of instruction, requests and instructions to counsel
- Prepare briefing notes, action plans, file notes and attendance notes
- Review reports, statements and other relevant documents
- Draft and proofread documents
- Liaise with and meet clients professionally
- Conduct research and stay up to date with legal and industry practices
- Manage day-to-day deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Maintain and update files and spreadsheets
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required)
- Strong IT skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- Previous paralegal experience is desirable but not essential
