About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with drafting, review and amendment of construction and project documentation, including consultant appointments and building contracts
- Support transactional matters across development and infrastructure projects
- Carry out legal research and due diligence
- Assist with document management, contract comparison and document production
- Support fee earners with project coordination and matter management
- Liaise with internal teams and, where appropriate, external parties
- Provide general paralegal and administrative support to the wider team
Requirements
What you’ll need- A law degree (or equivalent) is required
- LPC, SQE or other postgraduate legal qualification is desirable but not essential
- Strong interest in construction, infrastructure or projects work
- Excellent drafting, written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn
- Competent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
