About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with operational teams to understand their needs
- Monitor technological developments to identify the best solution for a given problem
- Design and refine an operational research model
- Identify required data and implement data flows
- Improve algorithm performance
- Analyze results and produce explanatory reports
- Describe the approach and present it to operational teams
- Integrate the model into an operational tool and process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Specialized academic background and hands-on experience in Operations Research are mandatory
- Student in the second year of a Master's degree (Master 2) specializing in Operations Research
- Strong knowledge of constraint modeling/programming
- Knowledge of directed acyclic graphs
- Knowledge of commercial solvers, ideally CPLEX
- C++ and Python skills
- Experience with collaborative development tools such as Git
- Algorithm performance optimization skills
- Very good level of English, oral and written
- Curiosity, rigor, and analytical skills
- AWS Cloud and SQL are nice to have
