About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform
- Enhance and maintain access governance segregation of duties (SoD) processes
- Work with business, Audit, and application teams to develop and maintain segregation of duties access controls
- Create security architecture standards for adoption of new technology
- Identify, quantify, and provide design requirements for security risks related to IT and enterprise projects
- Partner with business representatives and IT leaders to define information security strategy and direction
- Develop formal management reporting dashboards and metrics for senior leadership on information security risk and exposure
- Understand security product/service cost drivers and industry and business trends impacting the information security program
- Identify areas where security policies and procedures require change or new policies need to be developed
- Provide information security subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects
- Evaluate and recommend security software/hardware and integration into existing architecture
- Perform third-party security risk assessments, especially for cloud service providers
- Facilitate third-party requests for information on CNO’s information security program and policies
- Ensure proper technologies are used to meet SOX, PCI, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Ten years of progressive IT experience
- Three years of experience as a security architect or related role
- Ability to effectively partner with IT and business stakeholders and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust security principles
- Experience designing access governance, certification, role management, and identity lifecycle management solutions
- Must be based in the United States
- Ability to work Central or Eastern Time hours
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, or related security certifications
- Preferred: Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory/Azure AD (Entra ID), LDAP directories, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications
- Preferred: Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA/HITECH
