About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Stand up and run scaled content services for enterprise clients from service model design through go-live, stabilization, and handover
- Operate in forward-deployed client teams alongside production leads, creative teams, agencies, and platform owners
- Participate directly in intake queues, production schedules, and review cycles while redesigning live processes
- Map the full content lifecycle and organizational model
- Diagnose breakdowns and peak-capacity constraints
- Design target-state service models, decision rights, and governance
- Establish measurement frameworks and baselines for cycle time, first-pass approval rate, reuse rate, cost per asset, on-time delivery, SLAs, and KPIs
- Build activation plans with named owners and stand up operating infrastructure
- Resource and onboard teams; run cutovers; stabilize post-launch services
- Redesign operating models around AI-native capabilities and reshape workflows, roles, decision rights, and handoffs
- Collaborate with engineers and creative technologists to build content stacks
- Codify standards, brand compliance, and legal review for machine consumption
- Prototype with prompts, lightweight tools, and internal solutions before engineering scale-up
- Own VP-to-C-suite relationships and cross-functional delivery teams
- Translate between brand/growth agendas and production capacity/craft constraints
- Lead delivery pods, including casting and offshore/partner capacity management
- Shape commercial strategy, run workshops and steering reviews, and convert engagements into reusable accelerators, methods, and offerings
- Develop thought leadership and case studies
- Shape partnerships with Adobe, Pencil, Typeface, and other platform/ecosystem players
- Set standards for full-stack, AI-fluent, embedded content-operations delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10-15 years across content operations, creative production, marketing operations, consulting, or transformation delivery, with meaningful time spent both advising and operating
- Deep fluency in how content actually gets made at enterprise scale
- Track record of shipping in enterprise environments
- History of building pipelines, methods, or production capabilities that outlived the engagement that created them
- Commercial instinct to shape scopes, build capacity models, defend margin, and grow accounts through proof-driven expansion
- Background bridging creative production or studio operations and consulting or transformation work
- Direct experience standing up a service, studio, shared service center, or production pod from design through go-live and stabilization
- Working command of the transition lifecycle and entry and exit criteria at each gate
- Hands-on experience with resourcing, knowledge transfer, readiness testing, phased ramp, SLA baselining, and transition close-out
- Proven record driving adoption in an organization that did not want the change
- Bias toward shipping
- Ability to decompose a content workflow into demand, capacity, quality gates, automation, and human-in-the-loop steps that hold up under volume
- Accountability to outcomes
