About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, résumé screening, candidate communication and interview scheduling
  • Support the onboarding of new employees
  • Assist with organizing training sessions, meetings, development initiatives, campaigns, events and internal activities
  • Support internal surveys and initiatives related to workplace climate, culture and engagement
  • Update HR controls, metrics, documents and People-related information
  • Support hiring processes and documentation
  • Assist with time and attendance tracking, working hours, vacation, benefits, leaves of absence and employee record changes
  • Support employee inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate contacts
  • Support administrative routines for the office and the People & Culture team
  • Request quotes, research suppliers, and compare prices and commercial terms
  • Request and follow up on budgets and commercial proposals
  • Contact suppliers, support negotiations and follow up on requests
  • Support the hiring and monitoring of external services, contractors, maintenance, repairs, installations and deliveries
  • Assist with inventory control, restocking and purchasing
  • Organize documents, receipts, proposals and information related to purchases and services
  • Assist with internal events, campaigns, celebrations, internal communications, engagement and organizational culture initiatives
  • Provide in-person support and respond to employees through internal channels
  • Assemble kits, gifts and presents for employees
  • Prepare and update HR spreadsheets, reports and metrics
  • Support job evaluation and compensation initiatives and analyses
  • Enter and update spreadsheets, records, systems and databases
  • Verify information, identify inconsistencies, and track deadlines, documents, contracts, services and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Management or a related field
  • Availability to work a six-hour internship day
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Canva and AI tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Accountability for deadlines and information accuracy
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documents and systems
  • Interest in learning about different areas of corporate operations
  • Proactive profile and willingness to perform operational, administrative and support activities
  • Preferred: previous exposure to HR, payroll or administrative routines
  • Preferred: intermediate Excel skills
  • Preferred: academic or professional experience in customer-facing roles
  • Preferred: familiarity with management systems, HR platforms or administrative tools
  • Preferred: experience with quotes, purchasing or supplier communication
  • Preferred: courses related to HR, payroll, Business Administration or Excel
