Key responsibilities & impact

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and performance issues in major household appliances
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks
Operate and maintain a company-provided work van and transport tools, equipment, and parts to job sites
Read, interpret, and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Stay current on appliance technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices
Communicate with customers regarding repair needs, service options, and maintenance recommendations
Provide honest, accurate assessments and explain work performed
Record service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
Collaborate with team members and management to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction
Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards

What you’ll need

Proven experience in appliance repair or a closely related technical field (preferred)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, HVAC fundamentals, and mechanical repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain reliable transportation for fieldwork
Prior hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing household appliances
Experience working independently in the field is highly desirable
Comfort using diagnostic tools, meters, and repair equipment
