About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients on analyzing, optimizing, and digitizing their business processes
- Develop business and technical solution concepts together with clients
- Support projects from requirements analysis through implementation
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops
- Serve as the interface between business units, IT, and development teams
- Monitor and assess current developments in banking and payments, including SEPA, instant payments, open banking, and digital payment solutions
- Identify digitalization opportunities and potential applications of artificial intelligence
- Contribute to presales and proposal processes
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and decision-makers at banks, financial services providers, and payment providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, mathematics, economics, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience as an IT Consultant, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Business Consultant
- Ideally, experience in the banking or payments sector
- Knowledge of the business processes and IT systems of banks and financial services providers
- Ability to analyze complex topics, structure them clearly, and translate them into practical solutions
- Independent, organized, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills
- Interest in digital transformation, innovative technologies, and applications of artificial intelligence
- Willingness to travel regularly to clients for project assignments
- Excellent German language skills
- Good English language skills
