About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer and Sales Leadership Team
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of People Partners supporting the Global Worldwide Field organization
- Maintain enterprise-level business fluency across pipeline dynamics, quota structures, GTM strategy, and competitive positioning
- Connect hiring, performance, and organizational design decisions to revenue, retention, and customer-impact outcomes
- Attend and contribute to QBRs, operating reviews, and quarterly attainment and performance review sessions
- Advise the CRO on workforce implications of major go-to-market and company-level strategic decisions
- Own 6–12 month-plus workforce strategy for the Global Field Organization, including scenario modeling and org-design review
- Own enterprise talent strategy, including pipeline strength, succession gaps, and talent investment priorities
- Design and run executive-level talent review and succession-planning processes
- Drive talent actions across Sales, including accelerating high performers, addressing underperformance, and reducing regrettable attrition
- Own culture health strategy through diagnostics, change programs, and leadership accountability
- Model and coach direct, courageous conversations about culture, behavior, and accountability
- Own people analytics, tracking attrition, ramp time, performance distribution, and spans/layers
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Centers of Excellence
- Align with functional and regional People Partner counterparts
- Keep the Sales People Partner team focused on strategic work and redirect transactional work to HR Centers of Excellence and HR Operations
- Lead or contribute to transformation, restructuring, and M&A integration initiatives affecting Global Sales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 15 years of related People Partner / HR Business Partner experience with a bachelor's degree; or 15 years with a master's degree; or a PhD with 12 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Significant experience directly managing people, including building, coaching, and managing a team of People Partners or HR Business Partners
- Demonstrated experience operating as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to C-suite / CxO-level executives and their leadership teams
- Experience supporting a global sales, go-to-market, or revenue-generating organization strongly preferred
- Prior experience at a technology company required
- Experience in a cloud, SaaS, or platform-as-a-service environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
- Expert-level people leadership and management experience, including performance management, coaching/mentoring, and building high-performing teams
- Ability to provide expert opinions, advice, analysis, and recommendations to senior executives
- Proven ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships with senior company leaders
- Expertise leading complex organizational change efforts and project management
- Business fluency regarding financial drivers, market dynamics, and product/customer lifecycle
- Data fluency, including scenario planning and predictive attrition/risk analysis
- Executive presence and influence
- Experience building succession pipelines and driving performance differentiation
- Deep understanding of employee engagement and performance-management best practices
- Ability to build organization and talent plans
- Understanding of external customer, competitive, industry, and sales/GTM market trends
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
