About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end quality for SaaS and Data Protection features with an automation-first mindset
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, integration, and system-testing automation frameworks
- Leverage AI/GenAI to improve test automation, coverage, defect detection, and root cause analysis
- Validate backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and data management workflows across cloud and hybrid environments
- Execute large-scale system testing simulating enterprise deployments and customer workloads
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive defects to closure
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation and quality engineering best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of QA and test automation experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on experience with PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, or similar automation frameworks
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks and automated test suites
- Experience testing SaaS products, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications
- Deep understanding of Backup, Recovery, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, and Cyber Resilience domains
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
- Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and system-level validation
- Strong Linux, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Experience using AI/GenAI tools and technologies is a strong plus
- Candidates outside the area must be committed to relocating before their start date
