About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain innovative products for on-premises and SaaS offerings
- Collaborate with product management, cross-functional leads, and teams on technical and business strategy
- Shape the future product roadmap for Cohesity’s infinitely scalable platform
- Implement product features for on-premises and cloud platforms
- Drive test-driven development, high-quality features, and resilient enterprise-class solutions
- Lead team ownership and individual and team accountability
- Strengthen automation for owned product areas
- Participate in Agile development processes
- Diagnose problems in large bodies of complex code and develop fixes with rapid turnaround and high quality
- Work with Product Managers, Customer Support, System Engineers, and customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong coding experience in C++, Golang, Java, or Angular/JS
- 6+ years of developing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Fast learner and self-starter with intellectual horsepower
- Good analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Problem-solving ability to dive deep and resolve complex problems/issues
- Testing methodologies and passion for building quality products
- Knowledge of microservices and SaaS architecture is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Cassandra and MongoDB environments is a plus
- Located in or near Pune, or committed to relocating before the start date
- Legal right to work in India
