  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional team, including Program Experience Partners

  • Collaborate with national Program, Advancement, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams
  • Monitor regional performance, partner feedback, and student outcomes using data
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial performance
  • Ensure regional operations, people, and resources deliver consistent, high-quality execution and sustainable growth
  • Report to the Chief Executive Officer and serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Travel regularly throughout the Southeast, including day trips and occasional overnight travel; up to 10% additional overnight and out-of-state travel may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in education, nonprofit, public sector, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational growth through strategic partnerships, business development, or market expansion
  • Proven fundraising experience, including foundation, corporate, government, and/or major donor cultivation
  • Experience developing executive-level relationships with school districts, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, foundations, corporations, or government agencies
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and achieving financial goals
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing operationally in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong commitment to educational equity and a belief that all students can achieve at high levels
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or transport educational or promotional materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred: Experience working with K-12 school systems, charter organizations, higher education institutions, or statewide education initiatives
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the K-12 education landscape, funding structures, and policy environment
  • Preferred: Experience leading regional or statewide nonprofit operations
  • Preferred: Existing relationships within the region’s education, philanthropic, nonprofit, or business communities
