About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support federal customer engagements by delivering mission-aligned architectural design and execution of Collibra products
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and security standards, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud
  • Provide federal agencies with tailored data governance strategies incorporating best practices and enabling knowledge transfer
  • Drive measurable business and mission outcomes
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executive teams
  • Align engagements with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities
  • Identify opportunities to expand Collibra’s footprint within agencies
  • Align product capabilities with agency mandates, modernization efforts, and compliance requirements
  • Meet or exceed utilization goals
  • Contribute to public sector services and licensing growth through account expansion, strategic planning, and customer advocacy
  • Understand reporting employees and account assignments within the first 30 days
  • Present services offerings and the Customer Journey framework
  • Navigate Salesforce, identify at-risk engagements, and build remediation plans within the first 60 days
  • Identify services-process gaps and inefficiencies
  • Advise Sales on proposed services engagements within the first 90 days
  • Build Salesforce reports and playbooks
  • Execute customer remediation plans with sales, support, and technical teams
  • Convey how Collibra suite capabilities and delivered projects provide customer value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies with knowledge in Data Governance, Data Management or Data Quality
  • Understanding of leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, and Integration platforms commonly adopted by federal agencies
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, network-based API integration (REST/JSON), and deployment automation
  • Linux CLI proficiency
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure and platform
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop
  • Familiarity with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos
  • Hands-on experience with Data Quality, Data Pipelines, Data Orchestration, and/or Job Control tools
  • Knowledge of at least two or three of data management processes, including data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and business rules management
  • Proficiency leveraging APIs via Java, Python, or similar scripting language for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration
  • Skilled in developing functional and technical specifications
  • Experience with Collibra or comparable technologies
  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing on U.S. soil
  • Must hold active security clearance (Secret/TS/TS-SCI)
  • Preferably located in the Washington, D.C. metro area
  • Able to support an on-site requirement of up to 50%
  • Able to communicate across business and technical stakeholders and tailor communication to different audiences
  • Customer-focused and accountable for customer success
  • Skilled at troubleshooting client connectivity and technical software issues
  • Able to learn new software skills supporting Collibra’s application stack
  • Able to work with business and IT owners to identify and align on solutions to data challenges
  • Able to lead blueprinting, design workshops, and requirements gathering activities
