About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic liaison between Finance, Accounting, Real Estate Operations, and technical delivery teams
- Lead complex initiatives across the technology solution lifecycle
- Own requirements management from discovery through implementation
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, functional specifications, and data mappings
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, financial controls, system capabilities, and user experience
- Define data requirements and business logic
- Resolve data quality, integration, and system dependency issues
- Partner with Product Owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and senior stakeholders
- Align priorities and deliver effective solutions
- Guide Business Analysts and project team members
- Promote consistent standards, documentation, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience
- Experience leading complex initiatives within finance, accounting, technology, or commercial real estate environments
- Advanced experience translating complex needs into clear requirements
- Experience facilitating alignment across business, technology, and senior leadership teams
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of enterprise applications, financial systems, APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
