About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve territory sales objectives through business partnerships, clinical consultations, market-share development, and sales growth
- Sell and service Coloplast implantable and single-use surgical devices to urology customers
- Engage targeted accounts and execute strategic territory sales plans
- Analyze sales and marketing data to identify territory opportunities
- Understand customer environments, decision makers, issues, challenges, and opportunities
- Advance sales processes and achieve or exceed product-line targets
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis and apply financial business models
- Use consultative selling to uncover customer strategy and present clinical and financial value
- Plan daily call routines and account penetration for key accounts
- Use marketing tools, sales reports, educational materials, and national contracts to maximize sales growth
- Monitor competitive activity and sales volume
- Build and maintain long-term customer and cross-functional relationships
- Educate peers on product categories using clinical knowledge
- Attend industry training, meetings, and business-development events
- Interact with surgeons, doctors, nurses, technicians, procurement, inventory, and administrative personnel
- Provide case coverage and assist healthcare professionals during procedures and surgeries while following operating-room protocols
- Organize information in CRM or related tools
- Maintain sales reports, forecasts, inventory records, and expense management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years sales experience
- Urology background and implantable device sales preferred
- Experience in relationship and consultative selling skills
- Experience in interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience in negotiating, analytical, oral and written communication skills
- High attention for detail and follow through
- Exceptional listening skills
- Valid driver’s license required; driving is a requirement
- Ability to work independently, with high initiative and results orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel overnight (30–50%)
- Effective time and territory management skills and administrative capabilities
- Ability to meet healthcare customers in person and complete facility/system credentialing requirements
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies
