About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cover Men’s Health surgical cases as required by customers, hospitals, and surgeons
- Provide on-site clinical consultation and product information on Coloplast’s Men’s Health surgical products
- Support customers during surgical procedures
- Provide follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education
- Cover surgical cases and sales-related support as deployed by Territory Sales Managers or Regional Sales Directors
- Maintain clinical and technical product knowledge
- Provide implant, follow-up support, and troubleshooting expertise
- Educate and train physicians, surgeons, hospital personnel, and office staff
- Participate in industry training, meetings, and events for business development
- Maintain knowledge of assigned products, services, and competitive products
- Retain and develop customer relationships and identify account opportunities
- Help formulate sales strategies and increase product use within target accounts
- Build cross-functional relationships inside and outside Coloplast
- Understand account environments, decision-makers, issues, challenges, and opportunities
- Engage in basic market development activities
- Organize information using CRM or related tools
- Maintain records, inventory, sales reporting, and expense management
- Maintain vendor credentialing requirements with assigned medical facilities
- Interact with surgeons, doctors, nurses, technicians, procurement, inventory, and administrative personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 1 year successful medical experience, preferably in medical device marketing, sales or service
- Urology background and/or implantable device case coverage or sales preferred
- Ability to be on time and prepared for each deployed case
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and overnight, up to 50%
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong relationship and consultative selling skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Knowledge of current and new industry trends, technologies, competitors, and market positioning
- Proactive, high-performance, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Effective time management and administrative capabilities
- Ability to adapt and willingness to change
- Ability to work, manage, and lead with ethical integrity
- Ability to listen, articulate, and advocate effectively
- Ability to complete healthcare-facility credentialing requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
