About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable educational materials supporting organizational learning goals
  • Establish instructional design standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and creative direction to instructional designers and content creators
  • Partner with leadership to define learning priorities, project roadmaps, and resource planning
  • Oversee engaging training content using instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and multimedia best practices
  • Review and approve instructional materials for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and effectiveness
  • Guide content creation, storytelling, curriculum design, and visual communication
  • Ensure materials meet quality, compliance, and brand standards
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex medical and scientific concepts into accessible learning experiences
  • Support and occasionally facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Analyze feedback and assessment data for continuous improvement
  • Communicate project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
  • Contribute to management and optimization of the Learning Management System
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align educational content with organizational goals
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, education, educational technology, multimedia development, medical or scientific content creation, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience leading design initiatives or mentoring content development teams
  • Proficiency with course-authoring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content
  • Experience in graphic design and multimedia production
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and digital training platforms
  • Articulate preferred
