About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve territory sales objectives through selling activities
- Cultivate business partnerships with key decision makers
- Conduct product in-services
- Drive market share and sales growth
- Target homecare customers and sell and service Coloplast’s wound care product lines in Alberta
- Develop and execute account-level strategies
- Analyze sales and customer performance data
- Position Coloplast’s value proposition around customer financial value drivers
- Monitor competitive activity and sales volume in targeted accounts
- Gain new customers and build foundational market share
- Uncover customer problems and needs
- Match products to patient, clinician, and account needs
- Build consensus among account stakeholders
- Communicate in individual and group settings using verbal and visual platforms such as PowerPoint and ShowPad
- Plan daily call routines and account coverage
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships
- Communicate clinical and technical product knowledge
- Analyze and communicate clinical information from studies, trade journals, and marketing materials
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical practices, market trends, and industry information
- Organize information in the CRM tool
- Maintain records and complete sales reporting and expense management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Successful track record in selling in the medical device environment
- Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in healthcare
- Willingness and ability to travel within the territory; occasional overnight travel may be required
- Occasional travel to the US may be required for training or sales meetings
- Valid driver’s license; driving is required for this position
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the MedTech Code of Conduct, and company policies
- Previous experience selling medical devices preferred
